Documenting the large-scale collaborative performances associated with Naama Tsabar's 2021-22 solo exhibition, Perimeters, at The Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach, this unique vinyl and exhibition catalogue from the institution includes essays by curators Leilani Lynch (Associate Curator, The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver) and Nat Trotman (Curator, Performance and Media, at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York.)
Tsabar works at the intersection of architecture, music, sculpture and performance, and as part of the exhibition, transformed The Bass into a playable instrument activated by sound holes, instrument parts and microphones. By collaborating with local communities of female-identifying and gender non-conforming performers, Tsabar contributes to feminist and queer discourses through movement, sound and space.
