Organized with curators Esti Dunow and Maurice Tuchman, the gallery's 2014 exhibition offered the incredibly rare opportunity to see fifteen Soutine masterpieces in a commercial gallery in Chelsea. Roald Dahl's macabre story "Skin"—in which a semi-fictionalized version of Soutine plays a major role—is reproduced, along with a scholarly introduction which approaches the work from a neuroscientific point of view.  The catalogue contains stunning plate photography of the exhibtion works:  landscapes, portraits, and several of the artist's wrenching paintings of broken or flayed animal bodies.
