Tsabar works at the intersection of architecture, music, sculpture and performance, and as part of the exhibition, transformed The Bass into a playable instrument activated by sound holes, instrument parts and microphones. By collaborating with local communities of female-identifying and gender non-conforming performers, Tsabar contributes to feminist and queer discourses through movement, sound and space.
Naama Tsabar (b. 1982, Israel) lives and works in New York City. She received her MFA from Columbia University in 2010. Solo exhibitions and performances have been presented at the Solomon R.
